Regina's Story
I went to Pace University in NYC for two years and transferred to Suny Geneseo .I met my husband Rich at a party there. We've been married for 32 years. We have three kids: a boy, and a set of boy-girl twins. They are all law abiding, taxpaying citizens. I stayed home with them for 15 years and went back to teaching English at Rochester Business Institute for 15 years. I'm semi-retired now and work at my favorite clothing store three days a week . cost of living is really good, so I guess we will stay for awhile. We have two Italian greyhounds, Rocky and Lola. They are my "kids" now.
I really loved living in Syosset. I loved going to high school there too. Do you remember Mr. O'brien's Japanese garden? The whole setting was soo beautiful. There was a beautiful space of pine trees just across the street from school. We called them "The Pines" and would hang out there sometimes. And that big gorge with the railroad tracks. I had the time of my young life. Hope there is a 40-year reunion coming up. I'd like to go.
